The USTA Foundation and the USTA are lead partners in Lulu’s Place, a 501c3 organization whose mission is to create and operate a transformational nonprofit youth center with top-quality academic, athletic, and wellness programs that open doors to a lifetime of opportunity.
The facility will be located in the Westchester Community of Los Angeles, close to LAX.
This monumental project is inspired by the passion and generosity of Carol “Lulu” Kimmelman, a USTA Foundation board member and California native who passed away in 2017. A lifelong tennis player and former public school elementary teacher, she believed fervently in the power of tennis and other sports to transform the lives of young people from all backgrounds.
