During the 2017 US Open, Wilson partnered with the USTA Foundation and launched the “Ultra Aces” program. For every ace recorded during the US Open by a Wilson-sponsored men’s and women’s singles player using the brand’s new 2017 Ultra high-performance tennis racquet, Wilson donated $200 and a new Ultra racquet directly to the USTA Foundation.
As a result, over $35,000 will be directed towards National Junior Tennis & Learning chapters affected by Hurricane Harvey this past summer and 125 new Wilson Ultra racquets will go towards the Foundation’s Excellence Team Program, which empowers under-resourced youth interested in playing tennis at a high performance level throughout the U.S.
The Wilson “Ultra Aces” program is helping to fuel the Foundation’s efforts to grow the game of tennis in the U.S. and demonstrates the powerful difference the tennis community can make when it works together to make the sport more accessible.
