I am thrilled to be running the 2014 NYC marathon and running with the USTA Foundation’s team. This is my second NYC marathon and my fourth time running for charity.

The USTA Foundation promotes tennis, my favorite sport, by supporting programs for under-resourced youth that combine tennis and education to provide these children with opportunities to build better lives for themselves and their families. They are making a difference, and I am proud to be a part of that since it’s the kind of difference that translates into more fulfilled and happier individuals and better, more vital communities.

The chance to be a part of this amazing cause while participating in my favorite pastime of running is truly special. I am honored to be a part of this team and to be able to dedicate my marathon experience to assist the Foundation in its important work of serving up dreams, hope, health and future success.
